Pastor David Strickland is the lead pastor at our Easley campus. He is husband to Jennifer Strickland, and father to Alex (20 yrs) and Anna (14 yrs). David met his wife Jennifer at Emmanuel University in Franklin Springs, GA where they both graduated and were married in 1999.  Since that time, David has served in pastoral leadership ranging from short-term missions work, family life ministry, creative arts, senior pastorate, and church planting. Pastor David carries a passion to create opportunities for families to encounter the real presence of Jesus through worship, scripture, and communion. Alongside his pastoral duties, Rev. Dr. David Strickland serves in regional and national pastors coaching networks and is a professor of ministry & theology at both Emmanuel University (Franklin Springs, GA) and Southeastern University (Lakeland, FL). Beyond ministry, David is an avid obstacle course competitor, completing multiple races ranging from 5K to 50K. He also enjoys the outdoors and traveling though the Appalachian mountains. Pastor David has served with the Beech Springs Church family since December 2021. They are excited to be taking this next step with Beech Springs Church to share Jesus with the communities and neighborhoods surrounding Easley, SC.
